Evac+Chair is the original and global leader in the design, development and manufacture of emergency evacuation chairs. With over 40 years’ experience in the manufacture of life saving solutions, Evac+Chair is dedicated to providing the mobility impaired with a safe, dignified and quick means of evacuation and transfer. Independently tested and proven to be the safest and fastest means of evacuation, Evac+Chair is trusted and relied upon in emergency situations to assist in saving people’s lives.

With a wide range of options, we have a product to suit a wide range of staircases and personnel requirements. Our evacuation chairs and transfer chairs are strong, yet lightweight and include several features that make them comfortable and extremely easy to operate, even for a single user.

Our state-of-the-art UK headquarters enables us to design and manufacture products using world-class technologies and processes. With in-house powder coating and textile divisions and using local suppliers for raw materials, we can ensure our products are manufactured to the highest quality standards, whilst minimising our impact upon the environment.

We are fully committed to ensuring all our products are consistent with the highest quality standards, are fit-for-purpose and right first-time. We have a range of comprehensive quality management systems in place to control all procedures and processes across the organisation. This includes ISO 9001 for Quality Management standards and ISO 13485 for Medical Device Quality Management.
